Unfortunately, you're going to need the original disc (AKA Disc 1) in order to use the DLC from Disc 2. I recently found old DLC from an old Disc 2 download on my hard drive (gave my old GOTY set to a friend), and figured that buying any version of Oblivion would work with the DLC. I was wrong.
Wait, this topic is misleading. The DLC in the goty edition does work as intended on the One. You don't have to purchase it again, you have to put the second disc into the drive. It's a two disc set. It works exactly like it did on the 360. It's a physical licence to access the content, not a digital one.
I really interested in buying this game, but I would like to know if this edition (Game of the Year Edition) does include all DLCs or not. Thank you. google bundlestars.com they have the game for 15 bucks with every dlc and it comes as a steam key.
The Elder Scrolls IV Oblivion Game of the Year edition is $20 on Amazon for the PS3. In your opinion, is it playable or ridiculously outdated? The only Elder Scrolls game I have ever played is Skyrim, which has become my obsession. Assuming I do get it, is there anything I need to know in terms of differences from Skyrim?
The Oblivion GOTY Deluxe edition includes Knights of the Nine and the Shivering Isles expansions plus Fighter's Stronghold Expansion, Spell Tome Treasures, Vile Lair, Mehrune's Razor and much more.
