I was looking at the lower end casuals and divers from Seiko and orient and they all seem to be 38-41mm. I feel like they would wear too small on my wrist. I do like the orange monster but I'm not sure I want to spend that much on my first watch. As a general rule, 38-42mm will look fine on just about everyone.
Yes, as someone else said, the quartz version of this watch is 2mm thinner in the bezel and looks much better. I have compared both in person. BIG difference. Ironically, the larger GSAR version of this watch (41mm) is also the same thickness (14mm) an while larger, works better with the thickness vs. the smaller 36mm version.
The Apple Watch Ultra is just too big and heavy to be worn overnight. The quoted 61-gram weight is without the strap, and with the Ocean Band attached, it’s 95 grams. An Apple Watch Series 8
